Well, now we know. He has been posting over and over how happy he is.

Yeah, that guy was posting like a complete idiot. There were a few of them on Stef’s post. I got into it with one guy who said Toyota deserved it because they don’t actually make performance/sports cars.

Yeah, I've been following a couple of his comments. He needs to go away.

I’m really curious to know the details of his warranty claim experience too. What was the cause of the engine failure, and how far up the chain did he pursue it? I know people who have blown engines on FR-Ss, doing stuff like dyno pulls, and gotten the motor replaced after appealing at the corporate level.

Hi, yes, I’m going to need a healthy plate of context.

Basically, he’s glad Toyota lost because they make unreliable cars, and preaches it ALL THE TIME.

canadian Mazdas get lighter and lighter each day. Some say they have a rust problem,
I say it’s a performance advantage.
Ps. My 2003 protege5 had rust like the second picture in 2004.
all 2004 - 2008 Mazda3* look like the last pic, where even the mazda logo rusts away like it’s ashamed to be on a pile of rust like that.

I’m not Toyota’s biggest fan but c’mon, that’s just a bullshit thing to say about a racing team that has fuck-all to do with their consumer products.

I’ve heard the horror stories, never seen pics to go with it though. Good Lord

It’s crazy. I live in a province where we don’t even salt our roads, but I still see first-gen Mazda3s and late model Proteges rusted out. It’s like Lancia or British Leyland level rust.

Sold mine last October, (I’m in Pennsylvania) it was just starting to get bad in the doors and near the wheel wells. I think it was accelerating though.
